This website is an online resource of near real-time air quality data, not only for Shrewsbury residents, but also for students and medical health professionals alike. Using the various pages and features of this site you can view and interpret almost real-time air quality data from the automatic/continuous monitoring station located in Shrewsbury. The link to Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council’s Air Quality web pages also provides access to data from fifty periodic monitoring locations updated as monthly results. Nitrogen dioxide levels are monitored at these locations using a technique called diffusion tubes.

Data from the continuous monitoring station is uploaded on an hourly basis to provide the latest readings. The pollutants monitored at this location are listed under the details for the site.  Monitoring data from the site can be plotted on a graph and printed out.
